Chhena Toas

Chhena Toast is another variant of chena based sweets having a juicy toast shape stuffed with a layer of cream decorated with silver varq(edible silver leaf) and garnished with dry fruits.

Chena is fresh, unripened curd cheese made from water buffalo or regular cow milk. A crumbly and moist form of farmers’ cheese, it is created in a similar process to paneer except it is not pressed for as long.
